Tel Aviv Partnership

As part of the Tel Aviv – Los Angeles Partnership, coordinated by the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles and the Municipality of Tel Aviv, fourteen teenagers from Ironi Dalet High School spent a week and a half with students from Los Angeles Hebrew High School. From April 21 – 30, Israeli and American students joined together to experience Los Angeles Jewish pluralism. The Israelis were hosted by students’ families from L.A. Hebrew High’s Conejo Valley and West Valley campuses.

Each day was packed with education, fun, touring and traveling. The Israelis arrived during Passover and had a chance to eat matzah and experience the holiday with the families. It was a challenge to travel around L.A. and only be able to eat Passover food, but the food was not going to stop them from seeing the sights of L.A. such as Santa Monica Beach, Beverly Hills, Venice Beach and the Hollywood Walk of fame.
