For 61 years, LAHHS has served the greater Los Angeles community through the development of a stimulating program of Judaic and Hebrew education for eighth to twelfth grade students. Currently, LAHHS has grown to be the largest supplemental Jewish High School in the United States offering High School foreign language credit, with nearly 350 students.Please take a few moments to learn about the opportunities that await you at LAHHS. Mission Statement:Los Angeles Hebrew High School is the high school of the Conservative Movement, serving the educational needs of the greater Los Angeles area since 1949. Its program is built upon a core of Hebrew language acquisition and text skills. This core is supplemented by an exciting array of electives and a series of weekend retreats at Camp Ram ah in Ojai. The mission of Los Angeles Hebrew High School is to provide text-based Jewish education, to significantly contribute to the intellectual, emotional, social, and religious growth of post bar/bat mitzvah students and to enhance their lives through an appreciation of lifelong Jewish learning and living.
